FARMM's research program is organized along three main axes: 1) remote 3D collaboration over advanced network; 2) imaging and simulation and 3) digital fabrication. Each axis is fundamentally interdisciplinary and many team members participate actively in more than one research axis.

FARMM researchers are actively engaged in the discourse surrounding technology relative to pure research, industrial application, pedagogy and philosophical inquiry. FARMM researchers have published and presented extensively on topics engaging technology from application to poetics to theory.

FARMM's major research axes are:

  • Remote 3D collaboration over advanced networks
  • Imaging & Simulation
  • Digital Fabrication
